Objectives:
-
To promote trade, commerce, industry and mining and tourism.

To coordinate between state and central government authorities
on one side and industry associations, chambers of commerce
& industries N.G.O. etc. on other side on matters related
to implementation of policies, rules regulations and matters
effecting growth of industry.

To reduce poverty through micro enterprise development in selected
sectors.

To organize seminars, symposiums and workshops on subjects of
interests to Industry, Trade and Commerce.
-
To maintain effective interaction with Central and State Governments,
Financial Institutions, N.G.O.'s and Developmental Agencies
for effective implementation of socio-economic and industrial
promotional projects.

To serve as an effective information bureau for trade and industry.

To provide and arrange facilities for exchange of ideas and
information on subjects of common interest to local community
and Government bodies.

To establish contacts with trade representatives, organizations,
associates of foreign countries in India to facilitate study
tours and exchange visits.

To help in establish import-export consortia, organize sub contracting
exchange and joint marketing agencies.

To help in establishing collaborations & technology transfer
(both national and international).

To provide professional management services.

To undertake studies, surveys research projects etc in textiles:
wool and woolen products; rural art, craft & culture and
agro- products processing etc.

To develop and operate common facilities centers.

To organize, conduct and/or participate national and international
exhibitions, seminars, conferences, workshops etc.
VISION
RCCI to become a model chamber of commerce and to act as a catalyst
for accelerating development by changing and influencing systems,
in addition to its traditional role. It needs to contribute towards
effective & sustainable
economic and social development in Rajasthan through MSE-promotion
partly through its interventions and largely through policy influence
on central and state agencies.
